Ranger Derik will have a Discovery Station set up in the visitor center and will have pelts, bones, and other natural artifacts on display. The Ranger will also cover how to use citizen science apps that can be downloaded on your phone or other mobile devices. Apps covered include Ebird, Merlin, iNaturalist, etc. These apps help protect your parks and will be helpful in the Phoenix City Nature Challenge that will be occurring in the parks April 24-27th.
