Come take in the desert air and stroll. Soak up some of the fading evening heat and look for desert critters as Ranger Shaun guides you around an approx. 1.6-mile loop featuring parts of Overton, Go-John, and Clay mine trails. With UV and standard flashlights in the group, there will be a chance to encounter any number of animals along the way as Ranger Shaun discusses the plants, animals, and the ecosystems they make up here in our Sonoran Desert.
Please bring a water bottle, closed toed shoes, a flashlight. If available it is also useful to have a headlamp, UV light, walking stick or hiking poles. Long pants and sleeves may help prevent mosquito bites if you are sensitive to such things.
