Discover the magic and majesty of the full moon rising over the desert landscape, following the famous Arizona sunset draping over the mountains. This 1.8-mile (2.9 km) hike follows sections of the Clay Mine, Overton, and Go John Trails, making a loop. Terrain is rocky with a 300 foot (91 meter) incline. Please wear sturdy shoes, bring water, flashlight, and $10 cash for the self-pay station or your annual county pass. No pets, please. This program is weather-dependent.
