Join Park Assistant Doug Robertson for an educational guided hike to learn about the fascinating wild burros at Lake Pleasant. This program is designed for all ages and will provide an in-depth look at the history, behavior, and conservation of these remarkable animals. Click program title for more details.
The program will be given on Wild Burro Hiking Trail which is rated as Easy and is a 3-mile total out and back hike (Depending on the groups capabilities we may cut this hike to a shorter distance if needed). Restrooms are available at both ends of the trail and a water fountain is available at the 1.6 mile marker along with a restroom. Wear closed toe shoes or hiking boots. Sandals and flip flops are not recommended. Bring binoculars and cameras or camera phones and water. NO pets allowed.
