We will be hiking slowly along the river ramble and lykes lookout trails for 1.5 miles as we hunt for scorpions, and other nocturnal creatures that call the Hassayampa river home. We will be on sandy and rocky trails to please make sure to wear appropriate footwear. It is also encouraged that you bring plenty of water and a flashlight with fresh batteries. Black lights will be available to borrow for the scorpion hunting when the sun sets. Please no pets.

Limit 20 participants. To register, please call the Nature Center at (602) 506-2930 ext. 9 with your name, phone number and number of people attending. If you find you cannot attend a program after you have registered, please call the Nature Center ASAP so we may contact those on the waiting list.
