Explore the world of Sonoran Desert animals with Ranger Nikki. Get up close to mammal pelts and skulls, preserved insect specimens and even live reptiles as you learn about life cycles, adaptations and habitats. This program includes time inside the Nature Center classroom and outdoors along walkways near the building and nearby picnic area. Wear closed-toe shoes and sunscreen and bring a hat and water. Adults, if you would like to learn how to document any outdoor animal observations via the citizen science projects iNaturalist or Seek by iNaturalist, please download the free app at home and register with a username prior to arrival. Restrooms and water are available at the Nature Center.
