To get the answers to these questions and more…join Ranger Evan for a short (2.5 mile) hike along the moderately easy terrain of the Metate and Spur Cross Trails to examine numerous species of plants, shrubs, and cactus that call the Sonoran Desert home. While out, you may even get lucky and see some wildlife! This hike, while rated "easy," does have some rocky and uneven sections, though mostly flat
