With the return of warmer weather, our favorite little desert lobsters are back at it! Come along with Ranger Shaun as he goes on his second scorpion hunt of the year to see how many of the little beasties he can see. As a bonus, bring along your new apps, if you made it to the Discovery Station earlier, and get in some field time! This is a 2.1-mile hike along sections of the easy and moderate rated Moonlight, Stargazer, and San Tan trails. Difficulty slightly increased by the dark. Please dress appropriately for the season, as evening can still get chilly in the desert. Closed toed shoes and water bottles required. Blacklights recommended though some may be available to borrow. Children are encouraged to attend, though young children may be uncomfortable in the dark or find parts of the trail difficult, so please keep this in mind when choosing to bring them.
