Two picnic areas are available at the Preserve and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
The main picnic area, located behind the visitor center, is situated among palm trees planted over 100 years ago when the property was a working farm and ranch. This picnic area has no trash receptacles, so please pack out any trash. Please do not feed wildlife.
A few picnic tables are also located in the shade of mesquite trees behind the restroom building, adjacent to the visitor parking lot. A drinking fountain with a water bottle filling station is also located at the restroom.
