Lake Pleasant to celebrate Fourth of July

Lake Pleasant to celebrate Fourth of July
Lakeside patriotism

(Morristown) – The Fourth of July is quickly approaching! Pack up the kids, neighbors and friends and make plans to witness one of the finest firework displays in the Valley at Lake Pleasant Regional Park on Sunday, July 3rd! Better yet, make it a memorable day by adding activities such as boating, a refreshing dip in the lake or a picnic under a shaded ramada to your schedule.

Later in the day, you can pick out a piece of prime real estate along the shoreline to view the one-of-a-kind lakeside fireworks display which will leave you utterly speechless. When the sun goes down, the fireworks go up! Shortly after 9 p.m., fireworks will be launched from Vista Point, near Pleasant Harbor Marina. Fireworks can be seen from most areas in the park.

If the sun and fun zap your energy levels, don’t worry about driving home. Simply bring your tent, set-up camp early in the day and make a night of it.  For a nominal fee, you and your family will get a big bang for your buck and the display is like no other in the area.

Lake Pleasant Regional Park is located at 41835 N. Castle Hot Springs Road. Take Junction I-17 north to the Carefree Highway (AZ 74) then head west to Castle Hot Springs Road (Milepost 19) where you’ll turn north. The park entrance is located on the east side of the road.
