LAKE PLEASANT REGIONAL PARK POWER OUTAGE: Last night (July 21, 2021), a microburst hit Lake Pleasant Regional Park. Multiple power lines are down and the park is currently without power.
There is no immediate danger; the park and areas with downed power lines have been secured. However, the park is currently without power.
The park has been advised by Arizona Public Service (APS) that power may take several days to be restored due to the location of the damage. We are asking that hikers/mountain bikers please stay off of the Beardsley Trail while crews work to restore the power.
