Community Volunteers are an integral component of our operations. They live at their own residences in the Phoenix area (year-round or seasonally) and are placed in specialized service positions at our parks. These positions often include working in an entry/fee booth, assisting in a nature center, supporting youth education, and being right hands to our maintenance staff. Community Volunteers can work at one park or choose to assist at different parks. Due to the level of responsibility in this position, prospective Community Volunteers are required to complete a background check and take annual safety training. If you are interested in volunteer opportunities with Maricopa County Parks that are more flexible and do not have these requirements, please contact the Volunteer Coordinator at email@example.com or call 602-506-9510. We will do our best to accommodate your volunteer needs.
