Join Ranger Kevin and Park Staff to “Give Your Land a Hand” during the nation’s largest, single-day volunteer event.
This is a perfect opportunity to show up for nature by joining us for this year’s National Public Lands Day volunteer event! We’ll be focusing on cleaning up some of the park’s Day-Use areas. Trash bags will be provided, along with an assortment of tools. We will also have some work gloves, but please bring your own if you have them (they’ll probably fit better!). Please dress for both the weather and the type of work we’ll be doing (long pants, long-sleeved shirt, hat, sturdy shoes). Also, bring lots of water, perhaps some electrolytes, and some snacks. Shade and restrooms will be available near the work areas. Let’s make the public lands of our county parks sparkle!
MEETING LOCATION: Nature Center parking lot
Questions before the event, please contact the White Tank Mountain Regional Park at 602-506-2930, ext. 5
