Please help the staff at Usery Mountain Regional Park perform some much-need maintenance on the Buckhorn Campground Nature Trail.
What to bring: Your own gloves, proper clothing for outdoor work, closed-toed hiking shoes, and water/snacks. We will supply all other materials. The park is seeking willing and able volunteers to provide the manpower to walk and help make repairs to the trail. Due to the heat, we will start early. You must be in good physical condition with the ability to work outdoors, standing, walking on uneven terrain, and or bending over in the desert heat the entire time. Volunteers will be hiking approximately one mile during the event.
We will meet at the Nature Center parking lot for a Safety briefing at 7:00 am.
All volunteers will have free admission to the park for the entire day.
