Trailhead Chat with the Ranger: Mammal Pelts and Skulls

Stop by the trailhead to talk with the ranger about mammals that live in the park and also ask questions you may have about hiking routes and the trails.

The ranger will be at the main entrance trailhead to answer your questions about the park and hiking routes as well as talk about a display of pelts and skulls representing mammals that make San Tan their home. This is a drop-in program so stop by before or after your hike. No registration required.

  • Physical distancing. Observe the CDC’s minimum recommended physical distancing of six (6) feet from others at all times. Share the trail and warn other trail users of your presence as you pass.
  • Personal hygiene. Follow the CDC’s guidance on personal hygiene prior to visiting parks or trails.
  • Other. Do not use parks or trails if you are exhibiting symptoms. If you sneeze while recreating on a trail, please sneeze into your elbow to avoid the spread of germs.
