Join Ranger Nikki on a slow-paced walk as the sun sets behind the mountains and silhouettes of saguaros and other cacti are backlit by the orange, pink and purple sky. We will also be looking and listening for signs of nocturnal critters becoming active, such as nighthawks, poorwills, owls, coyotes, geckos and more. The route is an out-and-back walk on the Service Road for 2 miles total. The terrain is mostly level but there are areas with uneven ground and small rocks underfoot. Wear closed-toe shoes and bring plenty of water. Restrooms and water are available at the Nature Center. The Entry Station will be closed please bring $10 exact cash for the self-pay station or your annual pass to display on your vehicle.
