Spur Cross Ranch Conservation Area
Date: Sunday, September 26, 2021
Time: 8am-12pm
Location: Spur Cross Ranch Conservation Area - park in the main parking area and meet at the trailhead where restrooms and picnic tables are located, just beyond the parking area How many people do you want at your event: 10 or less, pre-registration is required
What should the volunteers bring: Work gloves, sunscreen, hat, snack or lunch, and plenty of water
What equipment will be provided: Rakes, shovels, picks, trash bags

Event Description: Trail maintenance on the Dragonfly Trail. Clearing loose rock, digging up protruding rocks from the trail, and digging drains to prevent trail erosion. Participants are required to have moderate hiking skills, must be able to work outdoors in the heat, and lift rocks up to football size
COVID-19 precautions: Mask and social distancing will be required. If Covid restrictions warrant, the Park Supervisor will cancel and reschedule the event. Contact the park a week prior to make sure the event has not been canceled or rescheduled.
