The hike will cover 2.5 miles and travel gradually up through the mountains with frequent breaks to talk about plants, history and take in the stunning views. As the sun sets and the lights come out the hunt for scorpions will begin. All hikers should have boots or sneakers, a flashlight that is fully charged, and plenty of water. It will still be light out at the start of the hike so sunscreen and or a hat can’t hurt. If you have black light feel free to bring them along but they are not required. Water and bathrooms are located at the trailhead.
