This is an approximately 2-mile hike along the Quail, Rainbow, and Saddle trails.
We’ll be seeking out the three most common types of scorpion native to our region. At the same time, we’ll keep our eyes open for other desert critters that may be around. The trail is rated easy-moderate with some loose rock, uneven surfaces and elevation change.
Please bring plenty of water and wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes. Bring flashlights; black UV lights are optional. NO pets, please.

If you find you cannot attend a program after you have registered, please call the Nature Center ASAP so we may contact those on the waiting list. Registration for this program will close on 6/14/26.
