The hike will cover 2.5 miles and gain about 150 feet of elevation gain as it winds along the shore of the lake. Hikers should have plenty of water, flashlights, and wear sturdy shoes. If you have a blacklight feel free to bring it along to help hunt for scorpions when the sun goes down. Water and bathrooms are located at the trailhead.
