Join Ranger Olivia for a hike to see and learn about the stunning saguaros during sunset. Click program title for more details.

Ranger Olivia leads this picturesque hike to watch the sunset while also learning about saguaros along the way. We will see the sunset, saguaros, and maybe some evening critters as well. October 10th is also Urban Wildlife Conservation Day, which means we will also be discussing the importance of having nature and places for wildlife near urban areas, such as the area you live in! Come out to your local park to learn about the saguaros, and wildlife that are closer than you may think! You may bring your blacklight and regular flashlight to look for evening critters(optional). This hike will be about 2 miles along the Waterfall trail, where the terrain is mostly flat with the first 0.5 mile of the trail being paved, and a few spots being slightly uneven/rocky. Please wear closed-toe shoes and bring plenty of water. There are restrooms and water available the trailhead but still be sure to bring plenty of water with you!

MEETING LOCATION: Waterfall Trailhead. Be aware this is an additional 5-10 additional minutes past the entry statin.
