Join Ranger Shaun for an early morning snake spotting mission! Click program title for more details.

Come along for an April afternoon walk as we try and catch the snakes sunbathing! We’ll be on the lookout for lizards and snakes trying to keep warm! Participants might include gopher snake, coachwhip, and maybe even rattlers if we’re lucky! Look out for desert spiny lizards, regal lizards, and maybe even Gila Monsters! We’re likely to see tons of birds, mammals, and bugs too! So even if the reptiles are hiding out, it’ll be a good chance to see some wildlife!

This hike will leave from the Nature Center travel on multiple trails including Overton, Slate, Jasper, Go John, and Clay Mine before returning to the Nature Center. While there are many trails named, each section is very small. Total distance traveled is about 2-miles.
