Take a free hike on our trails for National Take a Hike Day! Admission is fee-free today at all Maricopa County Parks!
Celebrate National Take a Hike Day by enjoying free entry to the Preserve and any of our other Maricopa County Parks! Explore one of the park's many trails on your own. Pets are not allowed at the Hassayampa River Preserve. Trails are open from 8:00am-4:30pm, with the Visitor Center and front garden open until 5:00pm. You can also use this as motivation for joining in on the 100 Miles in 100 Days Challenge at Maricopa County Parks! Visit our webpage for this program for more details:

Important Notes:
Physical distancing. Observe the CDC’s minimum recommended physical distancing of six (6) feet from others at all times. Share the trail and warn other trail users of your presence as you pass.
Personal hygiene. Follow the CDC’s guidance on personal hygiene prior to visiting parks or trails.
Other. Do not use parks or trails if you are exhibiting symptoms. If you sneeze while recreating on a trail, please sneeze into your elbow to avoid the spread of germs
