The hike is rated as moderate and will cover 3.5 miles along gently rolling gravel hills through saguaro, chainfruit cholla and palo Verde trees. While the elevation gain is minimal a majority of the hike will take place on loose rock. Hikers should bring at 1.5 – 2 liters of water and come pre hydrated from the night before. Closed toe sturdy shoes or boots are encouraged, and hiking poles can be helpful in spots.
Limit 25 participants. To register, please call the Nature Center (602) 506-2930 ext. 4 with your name, phone number and number of people attending. If you find you cannot attend a program after you have registered, please call the Nature Center ASAP so we may contact those on the waiting list. Registration for this program will close on 7/ 8 /26.
