This Hike will cover 3.5 miles and gain 168ft of elevation on mostly flat sandy trails in a loop starting and ending at the nature center. Along the hike the Ranger will stop to talk about the many cacti, plant and animal species that call the park home. Hikers should bring at least 1.5- 2 liters of water with them and come prepared for full sun and heat. Water and bathrooms are located at the nature center, where we will begin. Please make sure to wear sturdy close-toed shoes and if balance is difficult trekking poles can be a great help.
