A small stargazing program with Rangers Steve and Kevin that will focus on observing the nearly-full moon, Jupiter, and Saturn.
Join "Space Rangers" Steve and Kevin at White Tank Mountain Regional Park for a stargazing session! The Rangers will have a couple small telescopes set up to observe the 96% full moon and the planets Jupiter and Saturn. They'll also be pointing out other objects and answering all your astronomy or space-related questions!
This program will be limited to 15 participants; advance registration is required. Please contact White Tank Mountain Regional Park at (602) 506-2930 ext. 5 to register. This program is expected to fill quickly, so don't wait too long!
We will meet at 6pm at the Waterfall Trailhead parking area. This program is subject to cancellation in the event of heavy cloud cover; in the event of such a cancellation, all effort will be made to do so as far in advance as possible.
