Did you know that Arizona is home to 14 species of venomous snake? Or that it is home to the only venomous lizard in the U.S.? Bring lunch and eat while we discuss a variety of snakes, lizards, spiders, scorpions and more. We’ll look at the difference between venom and poison, what to do when you encounter a venomous animal, and what to do if you should ever be envenomated. Ranger Kevin will also have a few animal ambassadors of the mildly venomous variety for you to meet.
