Bring a lunch and join Ranger Kevin for a fascinating conversation about the Sonoran Desert’s most iconic plant: the saguaro cactus. Click program title for more details.

How big do saguaros grow? How long do they live? How many arms can they have? Why do some of them have holes? If you’ve ever wondered about the mighty saguaro, join us for this discussion. We’ll take a closer look at these majestic plants and talk about the critical role they play in our unique desert ecosystem.

Limit 30 participants. To register, please call the Nature Center at (602) 506-2930 ext. 8 with your name, phone number and number of people attending.
