Morning hike along easy/moderate terrain with some elevation change. Group size limited to 20 participants and advance registration is required.
Come join Ranger Kevin as we hike roughly 2.5 miles roundtrip along the banks of the Gila River. We'll be stopping to look at various plants and animals, and we'll discuss the nature of riparian life and how it differs from -- and helps sustain -- desert life. Be sure to bring water, and please wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes. Hats and sunscreen are also encouraged. Registration is required for this program and group size will be limited to 20 people. Please meet at the Nature Center, and please, no pets.
