Early in the morning is the best time to see wildlife in the park, especially if you go to an area that attracts a great deal of wildlife. Water and large trees are two attractants to wildlife, and on this hike we will explore a trail that goes right through a desert forest! Come explore with the ranger. Bring water, a small snack, and hiking sticks work well too. This 3.5 mile hike does have a large hill, and the hike should take about 2.5 hours. Meets across from Waterline Way at the Frog Tanks Trailhead. Just follow the “Hike” signs once inside the park.
