Join Ranger Eric for a guided walk to look for butterflies following our wet monsoon season! Along the way, we'll learn about our common species and some identification tips. Please bring your own water and sturdy footwear. We will meet at the Spur Cross Ranch Conservation Area parking lot and hike down to the Solar Oasis, about 0.5 mile one way on an easy grade, but slightly rocky trail. Space is limited. Earlier in the morning there will be a bird walk from 6:30-8:30am at the nearby Dragonfly Trail between Spur Cross and the Jewel of the Creek Preserve (see separate program posting on this website).
