Late April through May is the peak of spring songbird migration. Join Ranger Eric for a guided walk at a special time, from 7:00-10:00am, to look and listen for resident and migrant birds within the diverse desert riparian habitat of the Hassayampa River Preserve. Along the way we will discuss how to identify birds by sight and sound, and about the behavioral and ecological traits that make them unique. Some binoculars are available to borrow at the Preserve Nature Center. Space is limited. To register, please call the Visitor Center at 928-684-2772. *Note that participants must be on time to enter the Preserve, otherwise they will need to wait until the regular opening time of 8:00am to join up with us.
