Morning hike along easy/moderate terrain with some elevation change. Group size limited to 20 participants and advance registration is required.
Come join Ranger Kevin as we hike roughly 2.5 miles out-and-back on the Cottonwood Trail. We'll be stopping to look at various plants (flora) and animals (fauna) along the way as we enjoy the fresh air and pretty views. Be sure to bring your water, closed-toe hiking shoes and your questions about the Sonoran Desert! Hats and sunscreen are also recommended. Registration is required for this program and group size will be limited to 20 people. We'll be meeting by the Cottonwood Trailhead near the north entrance to Lake Pleasant. Restrooms are available at the trailhead. Please no pets.
