Are you looking to do a long hike, but can’t find anyone to go with you? Join Ranger Kevin for a 7.5-mile hike on the scenic Pass Mountain trail. We’ll keep an eye out for wildlife and springtime wildflowers as we go. Trail conditions are rated difficult, so be prepared for loose rock, uneven terrain and substantial elevation change. Please know your fitness level. If you’re not accustomed to hikes of this length or difficulty, work up to this one by joining us for some of our shorter hikes. Please bring plenty of water (minimum three liters recommended), electrolytes, snacks, and wear sturdy, closed-toe footwear. You may also want to have extra water in your vehicle for hydrating after the hike. Proper clothing (layers), sunscreen, and hat are strongly recommended. Trekking poles may be useful. Water and restrooms are available at the trailhead. Please, NO pets.
MEETING LOCATION: Tailhead Staging Area (near restrooms)
Limit 15 participants. To register, please contact the Nature Center at 602-506-2930 ext. 4 with your name, phone number and number of people attending.
