Join Ranger Jacque for a beautiful fitness hike along the Beardsley Trail. While this trail is rated easy, Beardsley is the longest trail at the park, with a one-way distance of 4.4 miles, and approximately 342 feet elevation change. The hike program continues 0.4 miles to the Wild Burro Day Use Area, for a total of 4.8 miles.
Choose Your Own Adventure!
1. Hike with a friend and/or arrange a ride from the Wild Burro Day Use area parking lot back to your car, completing a 4.8 mile hike through the park! (No shuttle services available)
2. After a brief bathroom break at the Wild Burro Day Use area (flush toilets and water fountains available), trek back on foot back to the Beardsley Parking lot, where we will meet, tackling the full 9.6 miles out and back!
Please expect rocky and hilly terrain along the route. Please bring plenty of water, snacks, sun protection, and wear sturdy, closed-toe hiking shoes. Hiking poles and an extra battery charger are optional.
MEETING LOCATION: Beardsley Trailhead. No facilities at trailhead; please plan accordingly.
