Hike through beautiful desert landscapes as you rack up miles towards the 100 miles in 100 days challenge
Come join a ranger on a 5-mile hike through the Sonoran Desert to help you on your journey to 100 miles. The hike will hit a section of the Pemberton trail with rolling hills. Along the way we will learn about the unique adaptations of local desert plants and if we are lucky, we may get to see some wildlife. The trails are rocky, sandy, and uneven at times so please wear proper close-toed shoes and bring plenty of water. Meet for the hike at the Trailhead Staging area next the bathrooms. Please no pets!
