Join Ranger Steve in kicking off your Christmas weekend with a family friendly stargazing event at McDowell Mountain Regional Park!
We'll examine constellations, discuss issues pertaining to light pollution, and view celestial objects such as the planets Jupiter, Mars, and Saturn through a small telescope.
Make sure to dress warmly, wear closed toe shoes, and perhaps even bring your favorite hot beverage!
We will meet at the trailhead staging area (right turn just past the Nature Center) at 6pm. Public bathrooms will be available.
