Stop by the nature center and learn about the snakes, lizards, and tortoises that call the White Tank Mountains home during this Sonoran Desert Reptiles Discovery Station. Click program title for more details.
Ranger Derik will have a table set up in the nature center with a variety of natural artifacts including skeletons, shells, sheds, eggs collected from across the Valley of the Sun. Learn about habits, snake safety, what species that are found in valley. And if you are feeling brave you will have the chance to touch one of the parks resident snakes.
