Stop by the Nature Center to learn about San Tan’s animal ambassadors with Ranger Nikki during this drop-in session. Click program title for more details.
Ranger Nikki will introduce you to San Tan’s animal ambassadors, including snakes, a chuckwalla, a tarantula and a Gila monster. (The tortoises will be asleep this time of year). Learn about their life cycles, adaptations and what you should do if you encounter their relatives on the trail. If you plan to hike before or after the program, be sure to wear closed-toe shoes and bring plenty of water. Restrooms and water are available at the Nature Center.
