Ranger Derik will have a display set up on the covered porch of the contact station with bones, pelts, stone tools, pottery, and other artifacts from around the Phoenix valley. Also on display will be a variety of native plants that would be used as medicine, food, tools and dyes. Diagrams of traditional homes, farming practices and rock art will also be printed out.
