Swing by the Nature Center and visit with Ranger Shaun today to learn about what the desert has for Thanksgiving. While turkey and sweet potatoes may be tricky to come by you might be surprised how much food is out there, if you know where to look. Discuss what to find, where to find it, and where you might use it in a more traditional meal. Consider, while you’re at it, how the plants and animals that might make up a meal work together to keep the desert alive. Now that’s something to be thankful for.
