Learn about the Hohokam people of the Salt and Gila River Valleys with this drop-in discovery station.
All-ages class, youth to adult. The ancient Hohokam left behind clues around the Valley that can help us learn about their culture and technologies. Park staff will share information about rock art, water management systems, gardening techniques, tools and more and have hands-on samples of replica and authentic artifacts. There will be projects and take-home activities for the kids! Meet inside the Nature Center.
