Join Ranger Eric for a guided hike to learn about the plants of the Sonoran Desert, with a special emphasis on spring annual wildflowers. There should be an abundance of wildflowers this spring following the late fall and early winter rains. We will hike about 1.5-2 miles on the Baseline Trail from the Baseline Trailhead and Baseline Spur and east to either Gila or the amphitheater area and back along the south side of the turf area. The trails are moderate, with occasional inclines and rocky, uneven terrain. Please wear sturdy footwear and sun protection, carry ample water, electrolytes, and snacks. Restrooms are located at the Baseline Trailhead by the turf area.
MEETING LOCATION: Baseline Trailhead next to turf area.
