Desert Outdoor Center - Clean-Up
Date: September 24th 2022
Time – 7:00am-10:00am
Location – Desert Outdoor Center (DOC). The DOC is located at 41402 N. 87th Ave., Peoria, AZ 85383. Please take 87th Ave. until the end of the road and a Ranger will let you in the automated gate. Note - The DOC is located on the East side of Lake Pleasant. Just North of Pleasant Harbor Marina.

In celebration of National Public Lands Day, this is a rare opportunity to experience the Desert Outdoor Center while giving back! The main goal of this event is to clean up Honeymoon Cove Trail which is the main trail utilized by school groups at the Desert Outdoor Center. Maintenance tasks will include raking, moving rocks, moving dirt, sweeping, and picking up garbage.
What should the volunteers bring? – Gloves, water, sunscreen, hat, trash bags, safety glasses, sturdy footwear, etc.
What equipment will be provided? - Shovels, rakes, and other tools.
