Come join Ranger Eric on the 3-mile hike along the Yavapai Point Trail where we will be able to take in stunning views of the Sonoran Desert and Lake Pleasant, as well as talk about the local flora and fauna. We will be meeting at the Cottonwood Day Use Area accessed from the North Entrance and taking the Pipeline Canyon and Yavapai Point Trails. The hike is rated as moderate, with some rocky and uneven surfaces. Please bring plenty of water and wear sturdy footwear. Hike will take 2-3 hours. If you are wanting to participate in the 100 Miles in 100 Days Challenge from Nov. 1 to Feb. 8, this is a great way to work towards that goal!
