Events

Come join a ranger on a 4.5-mile hike through the Sonoran Desert to help you on your journey to 100 miles. The hike will hit sections of the Moonlight trail, San Tan trail, and Goldmine trail. Along the way we will learn about the unique adaptations of local desert plants and if we are lucky, we may get to see some wildlife. The trails are rocky, sandy, and uneven at times so please wear proper close-toed shoes and bring plenty of water (there is a water fountain at the nature center). Meet for the hike at the moonlight trailhead. Please no pets!
