Want to get a good work out and learn a lot? If the answer is yes, then this program is perfect for you. Join Ranger Evan for a splendid 3.0-mile hike through the desert on Wind Cave Trail! On this difficult level hike, we will be discussing the unique ecology of the Sonoran Desert, adaptations that allow species to survive in the desert, and hopefully seeing some wildlife. This is a more difficult hike, so please bring plenty of water and wear closed-toe shoes, no pets please. Restrooms will be available at the trailhead. MEETING LOCATION: Wind Cave Trailhead Limit 20 participants. To register, please call the Nature Center at (602) 506-2930 ext. 4 with your name, phone number and number of people attending. If you find you cannot attend a program after you have registered, please call the Nature Center ASAP so we may contact those on the waiting list.
