Join Ranger Steve for an approximately 2 mile walk on the easy terrain of the Metate Trail to look and listen for nocturnal wildlife. Some of the creatures we might encounter along the way include: scorpions, snakes, skunks, nighthawks, toads, owls, bats, insects and more! Wear closed-toe shoes and bring water. Participants are also encouraged to bring a black light and/or flashlight.
Meet at the large dirt parking area at 6pm; portable bathrooms are available near the trailhead.
