Depending on the temperature we could still find scorpions, spiders, snakes, bats, who knows? If we can't find any critters, well, maybe we'll talk about all the people who once lived in the area, the civilizations that they built, and how we don't really know where they went....
Anyway, this is a roughly 1.5-mile hike on a moderate difficulty trail. Flashlight, closed toe shoes, and water bottle required. UV light recommended as well. Water and restrooms available at trailhead. NO pets please. Children welcome but please be aware that young children may find the dark intimidating at the best of times and this program is intended to be a little spooky.
