Come along for an early April critter hunt! It’s prime time to see creatures on the prowl early in the evenings in you’ve got some patience and know where to look. Stalk the park with Ranger Shaun and bring your flashlights, blacklights, and binoculars as we look for snakes, spiders, scorpions, owls, and maybe even javelina after the sun sinks below the horizon.
This hike will leave from the Parking Lot and travel on two trails: Metate, including the towhee loop, and Spur Cross before returning to the Parking Lot. Total distance traveled is about 2.5-miles.
